Darke & Taylor is still open for business and providing a full range of services to our clients during this unprecedented time.
DURING THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC WE ARE WORKING HARD TO CONTINUE TO DELIVER SERVICES TO ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS WHILST FOLLOWING GOVERNMENT GUIDANCE TO ENSURE ALL PEOPLE (STAFF, CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS) ARE KEPT AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE.
All of our work is being carried out in accordance with the Construction Leadership Council Safe Site Operating Procedures (SOP) which is based on Public Health England (PHE) guidance and the government’s advice on running a Covid secure workplace. The basic principle is that as a business we will continue to interpret and follow government guidance. This is a constantly changing situation and the Company Directors hold a virutal meeting at least 3 times per week to ensure that we are doing our best to comply with any additional requirements or changes to existing advice.
All office based are now capable of working from home and those who have to attend the office are following strict social distancing and hygiene procedures to limit the potential for transmission of the virus.
Whilst we have experienced some disruption as a result of the measures we have had to implement, we are confident that we can continue to provide the necessary levels of service including emergency call out cover to all customers and clients who have a requirement. Our incoming phone line is permanently staffed during normal working hours and all e-mail systems and mobile phone numbers are fully operational. We are able to hold remote video conference meetings with all clients, suppliers and staff if necessary.
Our priority as an employer is to do our best to protect the long-term prospects of our directly employed workforce in order that they can continue to deliver an excellent service to our clients during these unprecedented times.
Thanks to all of our staff, suppliers, sub-contractors and clients for their efforts and patience during this difficult time, we look forward to continuing our working relationships and to making our contribution to the economy as best we can.
