Darke & Taylor has recently installed a solar PV system at the University of Oxford’s School of Geography and the Environment. While they were there this amazing time-lapse video was taken http://www.geog.ox.ac.uk/news/articles/171024-solar.html, prompting this comment on LinkedIn “Another great solar PV installation and very happy clients too! 174 Sunpower panels with Solar Edge optimizers and inverters. Now on to the next…..8 more to go at least!”
The project is just one of a wide range completed by Darke & Taylor’s Energy Solutions Team over the last seven years, all of which have the environment, energy saving and carbon reduction at their heart.
Graham Taylor, Renewables Designer at Darke & Taylor, said: “In an era of rapidly increasing energy prices and environmental awareness, this is a growing market we have committed to and are now having a significant impact on.”
Darke & Taylor is accredited by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS), a nationally recognised quality assurance scheme supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change, that certifies microgeneration technologies used to produce electricity from renewable sources. It also directly employs a renewables engineering team, which is experienced in integrating renewable and energy efficient technologies into new and existing buildings and designing ground-mounted solar PV arrays.
A team of account managers is also directly employed to assist clients in calculating investment, payback, energy savings and applying for government incentives such as the Feed-in-Tariff (FIT), as well as project managers to oversee all elements of an installation from conception through to final commissioning.
Among the technologies the team is highly knowledgeable and skilled in are Energy Monitoring & Management, Solar Photovoltaic, Energy Efficient Lighting, Electric Vehicle Charging, Voltage Optimisation and Hydro Power Electrical Infrastructure
