Darke & Taylor Contracting successfully tendered for and completed the electrical services installation for this development of 14 large apartments involving restoration of the principal historical elements of the houses with state of the art technology to create magnificent “super-prime” market dwellings. This included working with some of the very best companies in this specialist construction sector and incorporating a £1M subcontract to install bespoke media, entertainment, lighting, security, data and control.

Darke & Taylor Contracting and its specialist suppliers used its many years experience in this market sector to successfully install and commission the electrical and life safety systems, including a stunning bespoke lighting scheme to compliment the ornate interiors and the latest life safety technologies to protect the property and its contents.

The original property had been demolished to make way for a new 7-bedroom house, laid out across 4 floors. This new property also included a detached 2-bedroom guest house, an external swimming pool, changing block & a remote orangery hidden deep in the gardens.
As this was a Design & Build Project, D&T was also able to showcase its electrical design skills.

Darke & Taylor was employed by Sizebreed Construction to undertake the electrical installation contract on this Super-Prime residential development.
Comprising 12 bedrooms, 2 basements, 2 lifts, a cinema, a gym, separate leisure areas, a 20m Swimming Pool, plus a separate mews property, this super-prime project totaled 22,500 sq. ft.
Darke & Taylor was one of a number of sub-contractors working on this project, which required flexibility, teamwork, and an exacting approach to quality control.
