Darke & Taylor are a multi-award-winning electrical services company with an established track record of providing job opportunities and long-term careers to people in the electrical industry and associated fire, security and network cabling trades. Based just outside Oxford and operating in the Home Counties and London, the company has a healthy order book and is looking to recruit talented individuals to join its team. We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Fire Engineer to work in London and the Home Counties. The successful candidate will be maintaining Fire Alarm systems and undertaking small works (remedials) in prestigious residential properties and commercial premises.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- A good understanding of the current Fire & Security system regulations and legislations
- Minimum 3 years’ experience installing and or maintaining fire systems
- 1-year experience installing and or maintaining security systems would be advantageous
- A working knowledge of the following products:
- Fire: C-Tec, Advanced, Kentec, Hochiki, Apollo, Morley, VESDA, Wagner
- It would also be good but not essential to have a knowledge of the following security products: Galaxy, Texecom, Visonic, Scantronic and Castle
- A full UK driving licence
- SSS trained, preferred but not essential
- ECS card, preferred but can be supplied
- Excellent client communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- Problem solving and trouble shooting skills
