Due to growth in our Integrated Systems Department, we currently have an excellent career opportunity for a talented Fire Systems Commissioning Engineer to join us.
THE ROLE:
Seeking an experienced Fire Commissioning Engineer to join a rapidly growing team working on some very prestige projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of Fire systems including but not limited to: Advanced, Kentec, Vesda, Wagner.
Capable of leading commissioning of projects from start to completion, working alongside project managers to ensure compliance both with the installation and paperwork. The successful candidate will be expected to work on various projects including within London.
Develop your technical expertise through cross-training across multiple security technologies and build a rewarding career within the security industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Commissioning of Fire Alarm and aspirating systems
- Conduct site audits throughout projects prior to commissioning
- Supervise installation engineers
- Assist with 1st and 2nd fix when required
- Ensure compliance to relevant standards and regulations
- Completion relevant commissioning paperwork
- Mentoring of apprentices and staff
- Assisting with Maintenance on previously commissioned projects
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience
- FESS card (desirable)
- Full UK driving license
- FIA qualifications or formal industry training
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Experience of networking and integrating systems
